Discoloration of the Soy Wax:

Our candle tins are treated with a protective coating to help prevent the metal from reacting with fragrance oils. However, fragrance oils that are heavy citrus, cinnamon, or vanillin may react with the metal creating a 'rust looking' appearance. 

This is harmless and merely cosmetic.

As of now, there are no tins available in the U.S. that are not susceptible to this.

We do not refund the purchase cost based on personal taste, such as scent, color, or texture. We try our best to describe the scents based on the descriptions provided by the fragrance oil and essential oil manufacturer and what we think of them when we smell them.
